Project Analyst – Scotland

About the Role

Are you someone who wants to help teams transform the way they do things? As a BetterGov project analyst, you’ll bring your understanding of agile practices and concepts to some of our major clients. You’ll be open minded, inquisitive, a great facilitator and problem solver.

What you’ll do within our teams

  • Communicate with both technical and non-technical people at all levels of the business. You’ll adjust your language to suit.
  • Fully understand the business needs and requirements. You’ll be a go-to team member.
  • Manage the elaboration, refinement and upkeep of the project’s stages and progress.
  • Negotiate with development and project experts plus business stakeholders to analyse data, create reports, and to find the best solution that meets project needs.
  • Acting as an ambassador for BetterGov, you will lead by example and promote our approach to project analysis.

You will suit this role if you

  • Have experience in all phases of the project management life cycle.
  • Contribute to project planning, budgeting, and project strategy.
  • Conduct and present analysis for proposed projects.
  • Experience with stakeholders and management.
  • Monitoring, managing, and evaluating the overall project.
  • Strong computer, communication, presentation, critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Analyse project data and produce insights to optimize project performance.
  • Provide operational support, liaising with stakeholders, tracking timelines.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation and reports.
  • Maintain projects contracts and financials.
  • Have a strong ability to influence.
